Olas Altas is located in the center of Puerto Vallarta and is often referred to as the ‘romantic zone’, because of its cobblestone streets, assortment of bars, bistros and locally owned boutiques by the beach of Los Muertos. Only a 10 minute taxi journey or one bus ride, this area is particularly convenient for guests staying at Garza Blanca Resort. The streets here are buzzing with character and charm and you can enjoy a variety of pastimes, such as trying some tasty homemade ice cream and chocolate from Xcocodivas or you can just sit at the Page in the Sun Café and read a book or treat yourself to pancakes at the Pancake House. When night arrives you will start seeing crowds of people heading to one of the popular bars or restaurants. Joe Jack’s Fish shack or Espresso restaurant are two great places to dine; they offer delicious dinners and the freshest ingredients. Then head over to Nacho Daddys for some live music or Andale’s Bar to dance the night away.
