If you are looking to spend Thanksgiving in Puerto Vallarta this year, there is still time for a last minute reservation at Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa. But hurry to avoid disappointment.

What to Expect of Your Thanksgiving Vacation at Garza Blanca 2021

For many Americans, just as important as the Thanksgiving meal is watching the NFL football game, which has been an important part of Thanksgiving tradition ever since 1934, when the University of Detroit Stadium hosted the first broadcasted Thanksgiving Day football game, pitting the Detroit Lions against the Chicago Bears.

In order to continue this well-established tradition of feasting and football, on November 25th Garza Blanca Resort will be hosting an incredible turkey feast at TierraLuna Gardens from 7:00 pm – 10:30 pm along with a special transmission of the NFL football game on the big screen as the New Orleans Saints play the Buffalo Bills. The game starts at 7:20 pm. The Thanksgiving Day feast will include a marvelous buffet dinner with a turkey carving station and will have you embracing the warmth of the holiday season, so that you can skip the elaborate preparations at home and the cold weather to bring your family to sunny Puerto Vallarta, where the warm climate and friendly atmosphere will enliven your spirit and soothe your soul.

Garza Blanca Resort offers a number of fantastic suite options for you and your family, including one, two, and three bedroom accommodations with kitchens, dining rooms and living areas where you can host your whole family. Besides a stunning Thanksgiving menu and special transmission of the NFL game on the beach, you might even opt to cook in your suite taking advantage of the hotel’s gourmet kitchens and supermarket delivery service or request room service, so that and you and your loved ones can enjoy a private Thanksgiving dinner in Puerto Vallarta complete with all your own traditions.

Thanksgiving in Puerto Vallarta

Thanksgiving is not the only reason to visit Puerto Vallarta during November; in fact, this time of year is a great time to visit. The balmy temperatures, averaging between 70-85ºF, create the perfect escape from the cold as well as the ideal conditions for outdoor activities such as paddle boarding, kayaking, and hiking tours on the Garza Blanca Preserve.

November 12th through 21st also welcomes the XXI Festival Gourmet International,  a foodie festival held in Puerto Vallarta every year featuring a series of exciting culinary events taking place throughout Puerto Vallarta.

Deserts at Garza Blanca

Garza Blanca Resort will be participating in Puerto Vallarta’s most acclaimed yearly gourmet festival and its on-site gourmet restaurants Bocados Steak House and Blanca Blue will both be participating restaurants. In addition to that, the glamorous inauguration of the festival will be held on the Garza Blanca Preserve at TierraLuna Gardens, the brand-new shopping village and event space on the Garza Blanca Preserve. From Bocados Steak House, our Chef Patron, Alfredo Bázan, together with his guest master chef Andrés García, the Chef Patron of Karuma, an international grill restaurant that is coming soon to TierraLuna, will be serving up flavorful grilled meat that will take your festival experience to the next level.

Chef Patron, Antonio Martinez, from Blanca Blue, an innovative Mexican restaurant, will be teaming up with guest chef José Manuel Baños from Oaxaca.
